Stronghold self-performed 100% of this project. Existing building is a concrete tilt up with Johns Manville built-up roofing mineral cap roof. PV racking system was ballasted to maintain roof integrity and manufacturer warranties. The added solar to the building will reduce the customers dependency on the grid for its electrical needs. By providing their own clean energy through renewables the customer is also reducing their carbon footprint. The PV system was designed to offset as much of the customers electrical needs while still taking into account current available roof space as well as future HVAC units that will be installed. Stronghold had to account for shading of all existing infrastructure obstructions and design the system in such manner that system output was maximized.
